I am going to start a Fall Foliage Run thread later today or tomorrow AM.

If anyone is interested on helping me work on this let me know so we can get the ball rolling.

I am not familiar with the area of Litchfield, CT, but found this 56-mile driving map with suggested route in counter clock-wise direction

There are even goats in sight

The driving directions are found here
http://www.yankeemagazine.com/litchf...ieldScript.pdf

For those unfortunate who live on the Left Coast, and cannot make it to Foliage Drive, you can download the audio guide at http://www.yankeemagazine.com/litchfield/

Ok, Ok, we "Pacific" members (me) won't "butt-in" on your foliage thread any more. There was no interest anyway. Our seasons change with new grafitti -- quite colorful.

A few members did want to have a cruise down PCH near Huntington Beach to watch the surfers and make pancakes over an open fire on the beach while the sun sets. We'll use "domestic" syrup to sweeten our cakes ...a favorite out here:

Start you own thread.

The left coasters probably don't come here.

The Fall Foliage Run now had its own thread and Mike made it a sticky.

Hey All,

I hope everything is going great.

Preparations on my end are solid. Got my passport/visa back, got all the gear ready (just gotta weigh it), tickets are in order, etc.

Still working on the photos from our climb - but promise to get them!

Here is an article that was written about me and it came out a few days ago:

http://jewishexponent.com/article/26...o_and_Helping/

Unfortunately, even though questions were asked/answered about our trip it didn't make the article

Hey DSX,

Not to rush you, but when are the Jackson Bridge and mid climb hi-res photos to be released?

p.s. If you need hands to help with post processing in PS I'm available.

Ah go ahead!

Rush him!

At the rate he's going by the time those pictures are released people will think they were taken at at an antique car meet.

Do they even make Photoshop for DOS? Processing is slow on his 8086.

My guess is that DSX only knows how to operate a GT1 engine analyzer; he has not yet figured out how to edit pics on it.

I figured he had a really old version of it:

Way to harsh the buzz, dude.

Sarcasm aside, Fryed and Mrs. Fryed extend our condolences for your loss.

Well, well, well. Now I know who my friends are. OK, maybe not friends but acquaintances. If not acquaintances, then people who would at least walk around me if I were passed out on the sidewalk.
It so happens my grandmother did pass away but that was in 2004 at the age of 98 so I'm over it. And the matter I was taking care of while in NJ was attending a play in NYC. Hey, you're the ones who jumped to conclusions!
Yeah, now you're never going to get those crummy pictures. It could have been my hour of need and my Bimmerfest family let me down. I wonder if there's more compassion over on Audis-R-Us. Gotta be.

[Pics soon, I promise.]

I'd expect nothing less from an arrogant BMW driving sob. I'm an Audi wannabe now. Watch for the BMW for Sale ad soon.
I should have listened to The Beej, he spoke the truth.

So a few of us stepped on you when you passed out on the sidewalk at C2C4.

Big Deal!

Get Over It!

Let it Go!

Move On!

Get an Audi!

Get a Lexus!

A Lexus is a rebadged Toyota!

Did you mean "SOB" or "snob?" I need to give precise instructions to my second when I send him to New Hampshire to throw down the gauntlet. I demand satisfaction, sir! Grease guns at ten paces!

Now, where was New Hampshire, again? Left turn at Connecticut? And come to think of it, I wonder whether I still possess a grease gun....
