Just Ordered
Just orderd a 135i jet black, terircota lth convertible Msport, conv, pkg , prem, nav, sat radio. Thinking about the software upgrade anybody have it is it worth it? Also does anyone know how long it takes from "prossesing order to in production"?

I purchased the software upgrade for my 2011 135i convertible when it first came out last year. It was $600.00 installed for a 20 hp boast and the maintenance of the BMW warranty. At that price i believe it was a good deal. I am not sure it is a good deal at the price they are charging now. It appears the software upgrade for the 2012 135i is $935 plus installation.
All that being said, you really do feel the extra horsepower.

I think I'll go with it......if they ever start the production on my car! I will be turning in my 335i coupe which was my first BMW it will be bitter sweet

You should plan on 6-8 weeks from the time you place your order until you get your car.
