Same here. I did 40/38 exactly as well.

What do you mean by the "second set of cones". The one after the very first turn, or the ones along the longer section parallel to the grass patches?

BTW, I do have a 12V tire pump, but I'm too lazy to do it in the morning. I just like getting it out of the way.

I'll be there. I got the rain gear, I just have to find my pants (don't ask).

I obviously need a good tire pressure gauge. I just realized that one only goes up to 40 lbs and the other one, although it goes up to 50, registers 5 lbs higher than the other one.

Congrats to Elwood for placing in the top 3 in the D-Stock category!!!

It was also great to meet PhilH.

On the course, however, I was horrible today.

How was the weather? I was gonna go (honest), but the threat of rain and being out late on Saturday didn't help.

I'm gonna come in first... I don't need to worry about stuff like clutches or shifting.

Great to meet Matt (rumratt) and Mike (Elwood), as well as see Brent (ACS-B) again.

It looks like I got my typical upper mid pack finish (4th out of 10?, 5th out of 11???). It was a tricky and very tight course, but fun to finally make some progress lowering my time by the end of the day.

Hope to see you guys again before the end of the season.

Be on the lookout for results on the NJ website in a day or so.

We laid the course out this morning under overcast skies in preparation for slick conditions. Instead, the sun came out and mocked the tight layout designed on the spot to keep speeds down and to avoid the two large puddles of standing water that were still around at 4:00pm. The water table must be really close to the surface.

The weather turned out great and I had a lot of fun. I managed a first in C class thanks only to the fact that a faster driver in another E30 was just pushed up into D by a couple points. I feel like I won on a technicality. Anyway...
