Dude that Forester was insane! Amazing he was getting times in the 60's! I only got to see his starts (through the slow section) Can't imagine him in the higher speed corners or slalom.

He was definitely driving at the limits, both of his car and his ability. The roll angles and squealing tires were, um, entertaining. Even though we couldn't see the times from our flag station, I'm sure I remember his fastest run, it was much cleaner than the rest. Because of half way decent torque, all wheel drive, and a generally lower center of gravity than you'd expect because of the boxer engine, Subarus can do well in autocrosses...but this is the first time I've seen a Forester.

Thumbnail pictures are now posted at http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/...event=04DE002U

You can see us staring at the Forester (car 80) in one shot, and he has some nice oversteer in another couple.

Other interesting cars include the Lotus 7 (car 1), the modified 2002 (car 2) and the Ford Lightning pickup ("car" 99).

I was car 21, rumratt was 57, Elwood was 4, ACS-B was 6, teamdfl was 81 and dngo was 5. There may have been a couple other bimmerfest members there that I'm not aware of.

Woohoo!!!! You guys moved the monster 2002! Thanks, Ed, now I'm 3rd in D!!! I saw Elihu rereading the classification info for the cars at the club meeting and was wondering what y'all chose to do. Thanks. Now, about that modded e30...

Jon Trudel, #61 at the event.

I have an extra 3rd place certificate if you want it I got one there, and then another appeared in the mail a few days later. Now I got to get my 2nd place one!

Those club meetings really have bad timing, only been to the one at JMK.
