X Drive Predictions

This is a great forum and I've learned a lot! Hoping one of the old hands can offer their guess on the options for the 2012 X Drive 328i. Are there likely to be four options like the RWD (base, lux, sport, tech) or will it be different? Hoping to order one as soon as available.

They will be the same. They're already advertising them in Chicago.

Lines and options should be the same as the RWD. FYI, the new X-drives will all be 2013 models with July builds....no 2012 F30 X- drives.

I am planning on 2013 xDrive Sports Line, but there is one potentail problem, based on the E90's. The E90 Sports Package for the rwd models offered the sport suspension and perormance tires, but for the Xdrives, the package included the sport seats and trim but not suspension & tires. On the F30 rwd there is either the sports suspension or the new adaptive M suspension; so will that be available on the xDrive in 2013?

No word on the wheels/tires yet. You will be able to get sport suspension but it will not lower the car the 10mm that it does on the RWD cars. Adaptive M will be available, but again will not lower the AWD cars the 10mm it does on the RWD cars.

Thanks. I should have checked the frequently asked questions, before I posted.
It's good to know that the adaptive suspension will be available

Any mention yet if manual transmission will definitely be available on both the 328i and 335i xDrives?

+1, I was thinking the same thing considering the E90 Xdrive didn't allow you to have the lowered sport suspension used on the RWD E90.
