Anyone going from the OC?

This will be my first Bimmerfest, so total stoked about it.

Where are all the OC guys? Anyone setting up a caravan?

Iam here in Tustin, was thinking if everyone wants to meet up in Stanton (Beach & 22 frwy) Old Autobac Store.?
What do you guys think?

Welcome!! I'll be caravaning from South OC. I've missed last year, but in years past, there were two caravans from the OC, one from Huntington Beach, and the other from Anaheim (I-5 and Euclid). Hey Scott, are you going to organize it again this year? We can always hook up with the San Diego guys.

hey guys, this is also going to be my first bimmerfest experience ! so excited! I am located in Huntington Beach and interested in caravaning with my e36. Does anyone know where the convoy is getting together around here? Beach & 22 sounds good to me

Sounds like meeting up by Beach & the 22 (Walmart Lot), or Beach and the 405 (Bella Terra) might work.

Iam thinking Autobac off of Garden Grove and Beach..since they moved out. parking lot is empty. Walmart parking is always packed with cars..! Any place is fine with me..!

Welcome to the forum! Since you live in Aliso, you might consider hooking up with the San Diego caravan (if you choose to caravan). One of their stops is Irvine Spectrum. I'm sure there will be more posts as we get closer to May 19th. See you there!!

Back in 2008 and 2009, when Bimmerfest was still held in Santa Barbara and I still lived in OC, I joined the Ikea caravan both years. It has since been a sort of tradition to meet at Ikea, but I've since moved to LA. This year, I'm staying with my girlfriend the night before just so I can join the caravan!

There is two caravan... one is off the 405 fwy in the ikea parking lot . the other one is off the 605 fwy and the meeting spot is @ macy...

Why start a new meeting point when we all can meet @ the big spots so we can alll roll like a bmw family ..... lol

I'm on OC and somehow have never been ... is IKEA the place to meet? I assume you mean the one off the 405 in near Harbor, correct?
