trouble shooting AC Compressor
I got a 1992 525i with a 118k on it.
My first BMW. Air doesn't work? Blows hot air. compressor engages. Aux. Fan engages. Amb. Temp /sensor works. Air flow dial on the dash set to blue. Low side charged to max. high side will only go to about 50psi both tubes coming out of compressor are hot. Can anyone confirm my thinking that the compressor is shot?? (not compressing) I don't want to hear its the expansion valve!! Pleas Help............ Thanks
