Took delivery on the AH7..*****.

So even though I test drove the 2011...I guess driving it for real and doing things you can't do on a test drive showed the difference...No question high end acceleration is impressive....going from 80-120 really takes virtually nothing at all. Something I havent experienced since my old Porsche Twin Turbo. The car is silky smooth. I cant believe that BMW was able to design a car that drives so smooth and stable at speed, you literally almost never feel it. The sound system is great. The tv's work great, now that I installed DVDinmotion, I get the video up front too. A little lame that the car doesnt come automatically with wireless headphones, but I think my dealer will toss them in for free. The car is fast....very very fast. It just seems to pull on you constantly to keep driving fast, and faster. Wow this is work of marvel. The interface system works fantastic, voice command is impressing all my friends ( me too). Haven't tried the Blackberry thing yet like Greg, but one step at time. I am seriously amazed, impressed, and just estatic on how this car basically does everything....This is an Ultimate Driving Machine.

LOL thanks...yeah she's my new girl all right! I actually love the "stock" wheels when paired with black- i went with Jet Black.. If you havent done DVD in motion you have to get it....really cool and easy to do. Next step is to tint out all the side and rear windows....prob around 25%. I actually like this car more than my old porsche....sure maybe not quite as fast, the little difference which is small is not worth all the bonuses this car has with comfort, smoothness, size, and all the technology. When do you get your car Peace??

I love my car! I did my ED last week and now I am in the two month waiting game!

I definitely plan on tinting the windows AND doing the DVD in Motion upgrade. My sons wouldn't have it any other way!

I found this car to be super fast too! I couldn't believe how ferociously it accelerated and how the torque seemed to pull hard throughout the rpm range...Great!

I am thinking about the new liquid black wheels as an option for my factory wheels...they are for the 6 series but I guess they fit ours as well. Man! I wish my car was already here! Enjoy!

Thanks! It's a dream to drive no question. This car has turned me into a huge BMW fan after only a couple of days. Iwantone, the Dvdinmotion basically it unlocks the DVD screen up in the front of the car, so you can play video and drive the car at the same time (normally a safety thing prevents it). It's really worth it for passenger in front, and just to have something nice on. The 7 series are seriously a dream to drive- on the Freeway/Highway/Motorway/Autobahn/Autostrade etc. whatever you call it.

can you post a pic of the leather instrument panel? I kinda want to see what it looks like!

ok...here's the interior with my options...i went dark with basically everything. Black Leather, Ash Grain Wood, Leather Ins Panel which is on the doors also....just look for the double stiching,Ceramic Controls......

one more i guess since it's the back. The room back there is pretty comical.

Money saver?...a little. It def burns less gas for a car this big/power...people trip out over the "hybrid" thing....

i get 15 mpg

im still seeing pretty great gas mileage on the freeway....if it's in comfort and I'm just cruising not pushing it, I see high 20's no problem. If I drive like Nickyblack then sure it drops.

But the identifying emblems/badging trouble me......... Way up on the C-Pillar like that looks way outta place.

i like em.....funny how it always catches peoples eye and they always ask about the hybrid thing....

Yeah, I wouldn't mind De-badging the C pillar lettering. It seems a but "Showy" for a German Luxo Sedan if you ask me.
