Talking Our e89 is ready to pick up

I went and visited our car today. We are collecting it on Monday.

It was raining and the car was parked in but I did take a quick snapshot:

It is a UK spec Z4 sDrive20i. The 20i is the same N20 engine as the 28i but de-tuned to 184 hp.

Here is what we ordered:

Z4 sDrive20i M Sport
A76 Deep Sea Blue
LYCY Canberra Beige
4BN Dark Ash Wood
225 M-Sport Suspension Deletion
544 Cruise Control with brake function
494 Seat Heating
248 Steering Wheel Heating

UK M Sport includes the following goodies:
2MU Style 325 18" wheels
775 Anthracite Headling
481 Sport Seats
710 M Steering Wheel
715 M bodystyling
M Gear lever
A few other minor styling items like M door sills.

Thanks for the pics...looks great.

I noticed the "225 M-Sport Suspension Deletion", "LYCY Canberra Beige" and the
"4BN Dark Ash Wood".

Is LYCY Canberra Beige like our Beige Kansas Lether just the yankee version?

Is the Ash Wood option you wanted instead of the M Sport Aluminum Carbon Shadow?

I went back and forth on the suspension. The M-Sport models include M suspension. You can delete it at no charge.

In my opinion, the standard suspension is slightly underdamped. I'd like a little bit stiffer roll bars too. But I wasn't able to test drive a car with the M package. It also lowers the car 10mm or maybe 7mm depending which brochure you read. 10mm isn't much but could make all the difference between hitting something and clearing.

If we'd had chance to drive a car with the M suspension, I'd probably have kept it. I didn't want to risk being stuck with a car that beat us up in exchange for slightly better handling.

Yes, leather is the same only the name changes. People talk funny here.

Debbie really wanted the ash wood. We worked backwards from there. Beige was the best match with the wood. With those two locked down, I told Debbie she could have any color she wanted as long as it was Alpine White, Titanium Silver or Deep Sea Blue.

I'll get some interior photos up when I get a chance. Interior pictures I took this afternoon are terrible. Will try again when there is better light.
