Passenger door locks

Seen a few already. My 2011 X3 35i just began the "will not lock all passenger doors" syndrome. Nothing locks them - not setting for speed, not the fob, not the sensor on door handle and not the internal button on center console. Only the driver's door will lock. I can, however lock them all manually (push button down), IF I lock the front pax door first, then the two back doors, and then use either the fob or the door handle sensor to lock the driver, rear deck and fuel door.
From that point I can open everything with the fob or the handle sensor, but again, only lock the driver's door (and fuel door, plus rear deck). Was at dealer earlier today, but they wanted it for the entire weekend, and had too much to do at that point. The dreaded "hook it up to the computer" would have been the first option.
