Is Premium Package (ZPP) required for ordering Technology Package (ZTP) on MY13?

Thinking about buying a MY12 Audi Q5 w/ premium plus , or a MY13 X3 28i with leather, but would prefer not to have the moonroof, as I barely used the moonroof on my current car, and I guess it will be quieter and cooler without one. Q5 premium plus does not make sense as you have to pay for the moonroof ($1.5k option) even if you remove it.

I do plan to get Technology Package (ZTP) with Navigation and rear view camera. Is Premium Package (ZPP) pre-required for ordering Technology Package (ZTP) on MY13? Anyone has the knowledge regarding this?

Thanks in advance.

Yep, if you want the technology package, you are required to purchase the premium package....that being said, you can simply order the Navigation along with the back up camera/park distance control as separate options to avoid the premium package. That's what I did on my order.

Good luck with whatever you decide!!
