BMW suspension tools

In the next few months, I plan on purchasing the BMW suspension tools. I'm guessing around $3K to do this but don't really know.
I already have the differential cover bushing one. This tool has to be modifeid to work on the M cover.
Will be going through the ti first for practice and then do the coupe.
Started with the rear axle carrier bushing ones.
Will order the trailing arm ones tomorrow.

A bold investment, Ron. Are you planning to experiment with or produce bushings?

I don't know. I have too many backed up projects to even think about it. Hope to have all the tools by snowtime.

No. I really don't want to get into where they are, returned damaged tools, when are you going to send them back, missing parts, if it broke, it must have been a bad tool to begin with so I'm not buyng you a new one, etc. The ancient man has been there.
And mainly if I want to use a tool, I want it hanging in my garage. I have purchased tools that I've never used. But if I need to or want to, they are there.

Your pool idea might work if you can find someone to deal with the problems. Bimmerfest Z owner forum only tool box. Not sure how you would control that. A few folks buy the first tool and buy more tools renting out the first one.
On the manufactured tools that I do rent, I get full price of the tool up front with half the price refunded when returned in a timely manner as sent.
This woundn't work with the BMW tools if the tools are no longer available or backordered like our E30 like suspension ones.
