install is not too difficult, you do have better access from the back through the fender liners, but you can raise your car and access it from underneath as well.

We have pictures of the install, it's very simple, pop the cover over the lights, unscrew the circular opening, and exchange the H8 bulbs. Total process 10 minutes.
I just called your 877 number and was told to get the ICE Lite H8 as they said it will be brighter than the VXX. Is this post old news?

The shape on the VXX is the Y shape vs the round on the ICE Lite. Will this affect the amount of light that gets to the rings?

the more rounded shape actually gives out more light, the Y only hits the 2 fiber optics directly, while the rounded shape actually bounces light off the reflector as well into the fiber optics.

Is it true that after certain period of time the rings turn yellow?

Only if you use HID, here's an example that we found on the web.
This photo represents the use of HID instead of LED.

So did you improve the product so that there is no need for resistors? If so I will give you a because mine were ridiculously easy to install( 5 minutes and I am not handy) but I had to use TWO sets of resistors to stop the fault code

unfortunately for the F01, resistors are still the norm.

In your previous post you said I didn't need to order the resistors? I'm very confused.
