Host Hotel?

Anyone staying in a hotel for Bimmerfest? My friends and I are thinking about coming down Friday before and staying somewhere. It would be cool to find a place other BMW fans are staying at

My wife and I are staying at the Marriott Courtyard in Pasadena (officially the Courtyard Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town). We're driving up from San Diego on Friday afternoon and staying through Sunday. We used to live in Pasadena about 20 years ago, just up the street from the Rose Bowl, so we'll go to some favorite places and restaurants over the weekend.

FYI, the top brand hotels are a bit pricey in Pasadena. Expect $150-$250 for Marriott, Westin, Hilton, Sheraton, etc. Lower-tier hotels/motels will be $100-$150. A really nice place to stay is the Langham Huntington, which used to be a Ritz-Carlton, but their rooms start at $209 and go up to $634 for their "California Cottage Suite"!

Awesome thanks. I think we're gonna stay at the Sheraton. From my experiences they've always been the best bang for your buck. Hopefully I can pull some strings and get my old industry discount haha (just left the hotel business last month).

Anyone else staying? Maybe a meet up the night before?

I think a lot of pple are staying at the Sheritan. Last year they had a discount for all the bfest pple idk if they're doing it this year. we stayed there last year an it wasn't bad at all.

(My wife's company bought several Marriotts last year and now she gets the Marriott Family & Friends discount. But through this connection she has gotten to know some people and getting a comped suite is even better than that!)
