Purchased an 07 335i with 39k and very happy, the power is great, sticks to the road, one of the best bmw I have ever own. I did however have the water pump issue as most 335i owners other then that its been great, I am at 56k, just had to do the spark plugs.

I got a '09 335xi last winter and I'm very happy with it. Great to drive, nice amenities, classy interior. Before I brought it home, the dealer took care of all the well-known recalls and it's behaved fine since.

Above 3.5k rpm the thing really flies.

The only real negative so far is there's no space for a spare tire, so my spare tire kit takes up a lot of trunk space.

I got a 2007 E93 335i in July last year. CPO, bought with 30,750 miles on it, now has about 37,500. Haven't had any issues other than a lock activator broken on the glove box, which was fixed under the original warranty before it expired and the CPO kicked in. Love it.

Other people's experience means little when looking at a used car. Just like in real estate the only things that matter are location, location, and location. With a used car, the only things that matters are condition, condition, and condition. Find a trusted mechanic to check the car out. A mistreated car will give you problems no matter how great the reputation is, and a well taken care of car with a bad reputation can be great. The other side of the coin is, how well are you going to care for the car once it is in your possession? Are you going to just do the minimum service you can get by with, or are you going to aggressively care for the car? Makes a big difference....

This. I look for little things. While small they give me an idea of how someone treated their vehicle.

I bought an 09 CPO 335i in December which had 15,700 and it has been great so far. Only problem is that a right rear brake light went out on me, but 5.99 at Pep Boys fixed that.

Mine didn't have the bluetooth or leather and that sort of bugs me, but other than that the car has been great. My advice would be to hold out to get the exact car you want, don't settle on a color you don't like or features that aren't there. Lots of cars out there the one you want will find you.

The 335 is a lot of fun...

Just purchased last week 2011 328i-- 19800miles. Paid 30100. Very happy with the car.
Dealership thru in lojack to close the deal. Very happy with the ride, and especially the color Tasman Green, with Oyster/black leather interior.
