rs110 wheel on m-coupe/roadster
Hi guys,
As some of you already know Ive been looking into using the rs110 wheel that the e46 m3 guys are having made by Champion Motorsport. They are developing a fitment that is specific to them in 18x9.5. This wheel cant be used on the front of the m-coupe (rear could with spacer) but we can have this wheel made in a fitment SPECIFIC to our M-coupe/roadster for width and offset. right now this is the initial suggestion: Wheels are ONE PIECE FORGED in the following sizes: front: 18x8.5 rear: 18x10 the rear wheel would be designed with a lip that fits with the character of the m-coupe/roadster. The stock rear wheel has a 3 lip from the valve stem. Weight would be an estimated 18-19 lbs in the 18x10 configuration. Lighter of course for the front wheel. for comparison: stock front, 17x7.5 = 21 lbs stock rear, 17x9.0 = 24 lbs. Offset will be done so that spacers will not be necessary in the rear. pricing will be around $2900-3200. We need a minimum of 10 people to make this happen. ( i have 2 people in addition to myself that are serious as of 5/21). Once we have necessary interest we can proceed with CAD drawings to finalize the look and pricing. more info and current details can be found at the following link. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=211617 If your interested please e-mail me rukman@optonline.net thanks! Rukman here are some pics i made up using the CAD drawing of the rs110 wheel from the e46m3 board...anyone who has better PS skills than me help me out ![]()

If you can get 10 to do 17 inch wheels with stock width and offset, I'm in. |
