? Snow damage

2 1/2 feet of snow here in Rhode Island last night! We only have a one car garage, so my wife's S4 went in. I left the windshield wipers up on my 2012 X6 and that may have been a mistake. When I cleaned off and inspected the car this morning I noticed a bend in the mid portion of the windshield wiper arm (not blade) on the right. The wipers work fine but it seems that the right one sits a little high now in the "off" setting. It is possible that the weight of the snow or a nearby fallen tree limb bent the metal, though I see no other signs of damage. Can anyone confirm whether there is normally a slight bend in the wiper arm on the right side? Either way I realize how lucky I am that my car and home escaped any serious damage.
