CD Track Title Problems

I just tried playing some new classical music CDs. The ConnectedDrive was able to identify the tracks, but the titles mostly displayed as question marks. Oddly, the catalogue number displays OK, so the effect is something like "????? ???? ????, H.XV ??.37 ????".

This normally indicates that the display device is not capable of displaying the character set used in the text. It seems odd that BMW would install a database that returns data incompatible with their display, and even odder that the character set for CD titles would be anything more exotic than US-ASCII.

Has anybody else seen this? Better still, does anybody know how to fix it?
