328i F30 Loaner

Recently had my 2011 335i E92 in for service, and was give a brand new 328i F30 as a loaner. I must say I was impressed on a number of different levels. I was very impressed with the power that came out of the 2 liter power plant, that is once I discovered sport mode. It is amazing the difference simply switching on sport mode makes. In Eco mode the car felt very hesitant and heavy, sport mode cured that in a hurry. Secondly, the automatic transmission was fairly impressive as well. BMW has done something in the last 2 years to drastically improve their automatic tranny. When I was shopping for my 2011 335i I was so unimpressed with the AT, that I opted for a 6MT. If this tranny would have been available I may have gone with it..... Naw, I love shifting those gears. Call me old school!

OK..you are old school..but in a good way...

i think that's crazy they just say here's a brand new car, take it for a loaner. do they do it because maybe you'll want to buy a new one? why not give you an older model?

It was a well equpied 'Luxuary" line. With steptronic, all the parking camera's and sensors (which was pretty cool) Heads up display, heated seats and sirrius/XM. had just over 200 miles on it. It was anything but “base
