Proposed 2013 135is VS 2013 M3 (E92) vs 2013 335i (E92)

I currently have a 2007 335i Coupe ED delivery. I plan to take another ED delivery in early October.

My heart says get the 2013 M3, but hesitate due to cost and I'm not inclined to sell the Porsche to make a deal. I have been thinking about the proposed 135is w/DCT as an alternative. I can't justify getting another E92 Coupe just to replace what I have currently.

Can you 1 Series owners help me out with your take?

Oh, I've retired the 318is after 19 years of ownership.

My mind say the new M3 too

The one area that I feel that my 128 lags behind the comparable 328 is in steering feel... so you should definitely drive it to see how you feel about it. It is one of the subjective areas that is hard to capture in a number, but is important for day to day driving pleasure.

The Variable M Differential Lock puts the M3 in a different class.

NOTHING will equal the 318. It's a phenomenal car for fun driving. If you want to come close, get the lowest power 1 series. If you want to enjoy the superest new BMWs go for a bigger number. It's your choice.
