new to the e28

howdy guys

e36 guy here looking to add a project e28 to the mix... one came up locally with a blown auto, what's the viability of swapping in a e34 manual set up... that came up locally as well

i know these cars are designed to be modular and parts between gens swap... im familia with the 3 series e30-46 but outside of my parents old auto e34 im lost on the 5'er

any help on if it would be a viable project is appreciated
