Instrument Clusers: Enhanced/Extended vs. Standard

Lots of talk about the two versions of the instrument cluster. But despite searching here and on Google, I can't find a comparison between the two. I think every F30 I've test driven (about 3) has had the enhanced. So what does the standard one look like?

While I'm only looking for a picture comparison, and perhaps a description of the extra features/functionality of the enhanced, I'm sure other people will want to know the criteria for which cluster you get based on options. Anyone have conclusive information on that yet?

Functionality will directly correspond with whether or not you opted for nav. The enhanced provides better graphics and a more comprehensive, configurable display. You can go on BMW's website and the configurator also gives a decent idea of what the type look like.

Interesting. Also saw section describing the forward looking camera able to read speed limit signs.

The car knows your speed and when you pass speed limit signs; displays speed limit.

How exactly does BMW's in-car comm link work and what info can it transmit?

Hmmmmmmmm?
