Engine Flooding M52 New Fuel Pump

Well, I knew my two system fuel pumps had one foot in the grave. So i decided to install a High pressure intank pump and delete the old outside pump. To give my M52 a better throttle response.

Well the whole thing is installed, car runs great when at idle but when i went to see how it drove the engine just flooded. Anything faster the 3mph and its jerking and back firing. Could the fuel pressure regulator just called it quits when it worked before. Have any other ideas?

the 255 LPH pump puts out more fuel, make sure your regulator and filter are legit.

Any ideas as to a good adjustable fuel pressure regulator? I see prices all over the place. 30ish-200ish. I really have no clue.

Thanks! I have it at 2.7 right now. Its not too happy if i do more. I'm pretty sure that will be fixed with the new fuel pump going back in. It pulsates with a hard dip. Check for vacum leaks but could't find any has a new boot and filter.
