cant wait for my 2013 X5 xDrive50 to arrive

well the lease on my 2010 535ix Sport Wagon (ZMP, 6sp manual) expires at the end of June, and since BMW N.A (in their lack of infinite, or any detectable wisdom) are not importing either the 535ix or 550ix F11 5 series wagon (a grave mistake in my humble opinion) I have just ordered a replacement:

2013 X5 xDrive5.0:

- deep sea blue metallic (A76)
- black leather (LUSW)
- aluminium trim (4AD)
- M Sport pkg: (ZMP)
- 20" wheels (2NY)
- multi-contour seats (468)
- M steering wheel with shifter paddles (7XA)
- M Performance Pkg (ZMX)
- Premium Sound (ZSP)
- Premium pkg (ZPP)
- space saver wheel (300)
- Adaptive Drive (2VA)

I am getting pretty excited about it, production is not scheduled until wk 20 and I dont suppose I will get it until mid June, which seems such a long time away ...

I will post pics once I get it!

Nice grats! Have you considered the 550iGT? I know a lot of wagon owners who went that route. For me the Wagon didn't do anything for me at all and the GT looks awkward, but the X5 is just damn sexy.

I looked at it, but I have four dogs, 3x aussie shepherds and one terrier, the rear cargo area just isn't large enough nor convenient to hold a couple of dogs that size, also the 7 platform and the lack of paddle shifters (or a manual for that matter) made the choice easy to go with the X5...

I actually wanted an X5M but I could not justify the extra $14k or so price difference between the two models simply for a DD/dog-mobile...

the GT's are just not an option for anyone that wants the cargo capacity and area to match either the touring or the SAV... personally I think BMW NA should sh*t-can the GT's and simply bring the tourings into N.A ...

I'm also missing ny european delivery trip ... which is not available with the X's

crap, I just looked at the BMW site, now you can get shift paddles or even a manual on the 550i!!!!

silly me ... not the GT ...

It's probably not too late to change your order.

that is going to be 1 awsome x5 if you do keep it.

Why Titanium Silver?

I have TiAg in my 550i and love it. The only reason we didn't get it for the X5 is because we didn't want 2 car the same color in the driveway.

true, although I usually do Euro Delivery ... which is fun and well worth it, which makes the wait a little more bearable ...

well Deep Sea Blue shows the dirt (and any scratches) quite badly (it does on my 535ix wagon) ... I dont like white/black/red/green/gold/bronze so its gray or silver ... I also want the M-Sport which limits the choices ...

I will probably just stick with DSBM... decisions decisions...

Sweet X5. I am leaning toward a X5 50i to replace my '09 Cayenne S.

Very nice. Enjoy. Is the upper tailgate open? It looks a little misaligned with a big gap where it meets the lower gate.
