Painted my Calipers (DIY) Updated Pics
Finally got around to updating the pics...finished the project off w/ some M-sport decals from ebay....
I wanted something subtle so didn't go w/ anything bright... I used VHT Caliper Paint (bright blue i believe), rated for 900 degrees (spray can) 1. Cleaned w/ caliper cleaner (aerosol version of alcohol/paint thinner/degreaser) 2. Taped off everything, did not remove calipers for this as i've done on my other car 3. sprayed some nice even strokes to avoid drips 5. waited for 30-40 minutes to put wheel back on Drove the next day fairly easy - things i learned? Found out there's no freaking jack in a car that i've had 7 tires replaced in the first 10000 miles  Aceman

Did you remove one tire at a time, or did you set the car on jacks and take all wheels off? I want to do this...

I will try this. I just need to decide if to go with the spray paint or the G2 brush-on paint. I don't trust myself with spray paint. The memories of how my bicycle turned out after spray painting it when I was 13 still haunts me to this day...

It all depends if you want them to be subtle (black/dark blue) or noticed. On your color car my preference would be red or burgundy - my 2 cents! Aceman

I think this is great mod. I can't beleive how crappy the stock calipers look on a car with USD 60+ k price tag?
