Looking to get an 2013 X6

I am contemplating getting a 2013 X6 vs a used 2011/2012 X6. I know there are limited allotments for this car and was wondering if anyone was getting a discount off the MSRP or are they paying MSRP? If so, what percentage discount should I expect.

For any new BMW, whether specifically ordered to be made, or selected from the dealer's inventory, you are better off negotiating an amount over invoice, rather than using the MSRP as a starting point. It varies by vehicle and by geographic region, but you should be able to negotiate a new 2013 X6 for $1000 (give or take) over invoice. There is approximately a 7.5% spread between MSRP and invoice. ^he is completely right , I've got a few x6's over the phone and if you're able to get it at 1000 over invoice its an extremely good price. Although markets are different in each coast 1000 should be attainable if you're in the dealership putting down a deposit.

I got mine for $1028 over Invoice.

Yes, please explain how you got 3% under invoice, which means approx $2K under invoice.

The holiday cash credit no longer applies, and there are no BMWNA 2013 X6 incentive credits that can be found. Was it a demo or loaner with a few miles on it? Did you have some unique BMWNA credits you were allowed to combine and use for this vehicle?

Please understand - it sounds impossible - so please share how you did it, so the rest of us can admire and copy your strategy.

Where are you guys getting the "invoice" amount from? Most of the sites that I use to use for that no longer provide it...

Try www.bmwconfig.com. Good site and you can print out your configuration and take it with you to negotiate.

The edmunds sites have the correct invoice information for each BMW vehicle and each package or option.

I see you've previously owned a Carbon Black BMW. I've never been able to see that color in person. How would you compare that color to the Sapphire Black? It's available on the 2013s with the M package. Thanks!

The 2010 carbon black F10 is my daily driver - the wife drives the X6. I have not seen the sapphire black in person, but from what I have seen in photos and heard from others, they are different. Almost any large dealer will have both colors on various vehicles on their lot - I recommend you take a close look. The CB looks black in dim, low level light, but has dark blue sparkles in the daytime.

How is that possible when Midnight has a blue/green hue?

I'm no artist, but the cbm color looks like a dark (metallic) blue in the sunlight. I used midnight to refer to how dark/close to black it appears, but if that is a color wheel no-no, please pardon my naivete(spl?).
