Mein Auto: Bmw X5 4.8is
Wanna cut off resanators of my 2006 4.8is Any Advise!!

Hey everybody, i have 2006 bmw x5 4.8is. i was thinking about cutting off the resanators and muflers, but somebody told me i might will sound nice, but u defenatly will loose power. If anyone done this, pleases let me know, if that statement is true about losing power. and does it worth of doing it. thank you.

I did it. Cut off your resonator only. You will lose a spot of TQ down low, but the sound is very, very nice. Without mufflers or resonator, the thing sounds terrible.

This is what sold me on the mod:

Oh, you need a cross pipe to replace the resonator. They're available on Amazon.
