Performance chip?

have anyone tried the chip on 740i/740il/750il?.. I heard they will add about 30+ hp and 5 mpg... will it really work? Will it give problems? Tell us about it guys, I know some of you have or know about it! Thanks...

What chip are you talking about?

You'll need to give us more info, what mods are you currently running?
what chip are you planning on purchasing?

All those eBay chips are crap, and they aren't real chips, they are resistors that connect to your MAF or IAT and fools your ecu into thinking that colder air is coming into the engine thus using more gas, which in terms people think that the more fuel the more power.

Now your car is using much more fuel than it needs and might cause pre-detonation and/or running rich which can harm your o2 sensors....

Headers, exhaust, cold air intake an an ECU reflash...

But keep in mind you'll probably spend anywhere between $500 to $1k and only get ~20hp max...

Doesn't the 4.4 have enough power anyway?
