Z4 2005 Cruise Control Not Working

Any help on a source to fix or trouble shoot would help. I just purchased it a few days ago and I noticed the cruise control isn't working. Thanks!!

The most common cause is a bad brake pedal switch or clutch pedal switch. After that comes short circuits. On the Z3, the third brake light wire tends to short near the trunk hinge. That kills the cruise control system. The Z4 could be similar.

One thing to check, on many BMWs your can't engage the cruise control if you have turned off DSC, I'm not sure if this is the case on the 2003 Z4.
