Driving in the Honda today when I saw this. Who said the Z4 is not practical?

BMW makes a very nice dedicated bicycle carrier for the e89. I don't know if they sell it in the US. It has lights and a license plate holder. The EU lights won't be legal, but maybe BMW does an American version.

The BMW bike rack looks like a nice unit. They probably won't sell it in the US as a liability for some idiot operating his top with the rack on. On the flip side I find it inconceivable that BMW would invest the design/mfg effort into this low volume project, charge £1700 ($2700), but won't bother with a nice set of drilled rotors & performance calipers. Sometimes I wonder what are they thinking in the 4 Cyl building.
