Munich = city of birth; 77 year of birth - pretty descriptive I guess.

Not a ski trail. That's where I like to ski. Anywhere that has a sign on it that says "Not a ski Trial" is where I head.

Alpine300zhp. I was a lurker on the fest for many years and decided to join because of conversations taking place among members. At the time I joined my current car was an alpine white E46 330i with the performance package (ZHP). I actually meant to make my username alpine330zhp and incorrectly typed it as alpine300zhp. Ended up liking that and decided against having the mods correct it for me.

When I originally joined The Fest, I used my AOL screen name (yes Needs, I remember those days), but my AOL screen name was indicative of my profession and had no relation to BMW. Last year I decided that I wanted a user name that was related to BMW, rather than my profession. I happened to be reading the BMW magazine, which had a featured story about BMW's partnership with Tom Cruise for the movie, Ghost Protocol. I liked the sound of it so I made the change.
My only concern with making the change was that I would no longer be identified as the creator of The Dot Thread (for better or worse). After one year and approximately six months, I can say that The Dot in my F10 is functioning flawlessly. Why some Fives have the dot and others do not, still remains a mystery that will probably never be solved.

This is a great thread!
I've had by screen name since 1995 during the AOL era. I was a teenager back then and very skinny (120 pounds, 5'10") so people called me bigken as a joke. 620 is DOB. |

My nickname in elementary school started out as "Bic," as in the lighter. Red hair.
It evolved to "Bick" as I got older, my hair got browner, and my college buddies adopted it as my nom de guerre. Graduated from University of Washington (GO Dawgs!) in 1989. Bick + UW + '89 = BickUW89

Scuzzlebutt is a character from the animated television series South Park. His first (and presumably last) appearance is in episode two, "Volcano". His name is apparently a reference to the term scuttlebutt.
Scuzzlebutt looks something like a large (approximately twice the height of a man) brown bipedal dog with protruding lower fangs and a ruff of darker brown fur around his neck. One of his hands is a stalk of celery and one of his legs has been replaced with Patrick Duffy. I have been using forms of Scuzzlebutt for online forums and gamer tags since this episode debuted. Here is script from show: Cartman: "You guys ever heard of Scuzzlebutt?" Stan: "Whattlebutt?" Cartman: "Scuzzlebutt is a creature that lives up on this very mountain and kills anyone who dares climb to the top." Stan: "Why?" Cartman: "Because, it loves the taste of blood, and likes to add pieces to its deformed body." Kyle: "Deformed how?" Cartman: "Well, on his left arm, instead of a hand, he has..." Stan: "A hook!" Kyle: "A knife!" Cartman: "No! A piece of celery." Stan: "Celery!?" Cartman: "Yes, and he walks with a limp... Because one of his legs is missing. And where his leg should be, there's nothing but... Patrick Duffy." Kyle: "Patrick Duffy!? Dammit Cartman, that's not scary." Cartman: "What do you mean? Have you ever seen Step by Step? ... So he lives alone on this mountain, and weaves baskets, and other assorted crafts. They say on quiet nights, you can hear him weaving his baskets... Ka-*****, ka-*****, ka-*****." --South Park episode two, Volcano

All very interesting! One of the few threads I read every reply of, and not skimming!
Like a few of you, my handle stems from the golden age of AOL screennames. When I first signed up for AOL, I had no idea what name to create. I was big into woodworking then (no time any more for that), and was making a jewelry box out of this wood called goosefoot maple- a very cool looking, but not well known tree. 3 was and is my favorite number, so after discovering that "goosefoot" and "goosefoot3" were taken, so became goosefoot33. I also didn't mind the similarity to Tom Cruise's nickname in Top Gun. Oh how I love the 90s! Sent from my ADR6300 using Bimmer App

The story behind my username could get pretty lengthy, but I'll try to keep it short. . . Raj is my first name and G is the first initial of my last name. Hmm, maybe it wasn't that long of a story. Sorry for the snoozer of a description
