E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993. |

Drum to Disc brakes?
Not to familiar with braking systems, however how difficult would it be to convert the rear drum brakes on a 1984 318i to disc? Any good kits?

basically, you have to replace everything. keep the drums. save yourself the headache and money, then buy a 89-91 325

Yeah, or sell it. That's what I did. I mean sell the car. Unless if you are trying to do something absolutely outrageous. They aren't terrible. A little 1.8 can't hurt them. They don't have much use in the first place. Well aside from a minor assistance while braking and when you use the handbrake.

Sorry got to invoke this again but I was out hunting for E30s again and I spotted one with rear disc brakes. It was all powerful and stuff. So it needed some and long story short I met an E30 with 4 pots in front and 2 pots in the rear.
