Mein Auto: 05' BMW 745i,
Finally after 8 weeks, got my wheels!!

So after a whole 8 weeks due to first set having wrong offset and blemishes in the chrome. I HAVE WHEELS! Ha ha. No more grannie car on stocks...

Also picked up an 07 MMI thanks to Paper and put that in last night. With more on the way including front ACS lip, rear trunk spoiler, rear window, painted molded mudflaps and a H&R drop... Cant wait.....

Get that thing lowered ASAP!!!!!! Great wheel design, still looks like it could use a spacer in the back.

The upcoming mod list will really bring it together

Looks great! I love those wheels and I am glad to see that you finally got them on.

The to do list sounds really good, too. If you don't need a license plate in your state you should add tne front plate delete.

And yes the car really needs a drop, but that can wait. Enjoy it now it is beautiful.

Thanks David and by the way a very nice new aquisition yourself! We do need 2 plates in Oregon but i have had it like that for almost a year so I do think i'm gonna to try the license plate delete.

Drop will definitely be the first on that list of mods. By the way do you still have your stock 19's?

Thanks! I actually ended up giving the 19s to the dealer I traded my car to. I don't really see how, but apparently they didn't realize the flat tire light came on with the 22s, so I felt bad and just took them down there.

Why didn't you snatch the 22's back then?! you could have gotten at least a grand out of them David!

What size are those wheels? Regardless, they still look like the offsets are wrong. Especially the rears.

Ok well here is the clincher. They are a 2 piece wheel and i am not sure if that made a diference. I didnt know any better when i ordered them and then when i wanted to change it was too late they said. Also they said the 3 piece wouldnt have made that much of a diference. Now i see it may have never seing 2 piece before. They are 22's and i believe 10.5 and 9.5. Would spacers on the rear help out. Good thing i live up here in Portland. Not many people would know the diference but i notice it. Just dont know what to do...

9.5 and 10.5 no matter 2 piece or 3 piece is fine. The issue is that your offsets front and rear are too high. Maybe the wheels were ordered/built for a F01/F02 7series? The offset on the new 7series is higher. Regardless, spacers front and rear will make it look 10 time better. Mainly the rears.

Does it look like its mostly the rear to you? I'm sure the answer is YES. Ha ha just saw u mentioned the rears...

How would ya measure for what size spacers are needed and do spacers harm anything like bearings over time?

Also im running Vredestein 295/30/22 rears and 265/30/22 fronts

Thanks Sam

To determine the spacer size, just measure from the outer edge of the tire to the inner edge of the fender. Measure the rear where the corner of the bumper and the quarter panel attach. To be safe from rubbing, once you measure, subtract a couple of mm on the rear. I think the front is ok how it is.

The tire sizes are good. Just dont go too agressive on the rear spacer or else you may need to have the fenders rolled.

And yes, I am pretty sure over a long period of time or a lot of miles, running these wheels with spacers, or these wheels period will have some negative affect on the suspension components.
