Looks like Bosch makes the Microfilter

In my quest to avoid paying dealer prices for normal wear-and-tear maintenance items, I've gotten pretty good at figuring out the OEM suppliers for these parts.

So like previously mentioned, I've had good luck with the Bosch oil filter which is essentially BMW uses for the M54 engine. The Valeo SWF wiper blades have been good to me for over a year. I just bought the Bosch cabin air filter (pictured on top), which Autozone sells for $30. As you can see, it's identical, maybe better since the OEM one now has less "webbing" than it used to (prob cost-cutting on BMW's part when they switched to 3M) and is also made in Germany.

Just note that Autozones don't carry the Bosch microfilter in stock; they're order-only so call ahead to place an order, it arrives the next business day. Hope it saves y'all time and money

Perfect timing for me! I need to buy both the cabin and engine air filter elements and this will give me more info. Thanks!
