Exclamation ABS light on

I have a 2007 328i sedan that I purchased used in '11 from a non-BMW dealer. This has been the first BMW that I've ever owned. My ABS light is on in my car. At first it would come on intermittently but now its on all the time. I took it to the dealership where I purchased it. The codes they pulled were for the ABS pump inop and the ABS pump connector malfunction. I was wondering if this is a common problem with these cars. Is there any fixes besides replacing the ABS pump? Please help!

have exact same problem like you. same car as well. Unfortunately only solution is pump replacement, which could be very pricey . i called stealership and they have abs pump+module in stock for $650 which is not to bad but here is a kicker .. installation and programing is additional $630! THAT'S CRAZY! i have been looking used units and i found some for 300-400 (used) but part number not matching one in my car. Also , dealer refused to share part number with me ,says that he just following stealership policy...
