Hello!,
I'm a long time lurker and first time poster. I have a 2005 X3 which needs an inspection II and it looks like the AC has sprung a freon leak as well. Strictly BMW is asking for about 1100 + 250, to do the inspection and diagnose the leak. I am not really confident about DIY....are these prices good or should I find another shop...any recommendations for Eastside Seattle ?. Thank you! |

I would try a indi.a/c shop.Mine was blowing warm from passenger side only.
They drained and refilled the system with new freon and dye. Drove it for a few weeks and returned to have it checked for leaks but they didn`t find any . Four months later it is still ice cold. They think the new freon maybe lubricated the seals and cured the problem. Charged me $120. |
