Finally done Air Ride 74fizzle.

So it took almost 3 weeks but its finally done and I have to say it drives way better than before when I had the H&R springs which is for sale. Here are some pictures and my new wheels should be in by next week, cant wait 22x10 front 22x12 rear . Also they maxed out my caber on all wheels to negative 3.5, when I get my new wheels im thinking of getting that camber kit sanhonda showed me to increase it to negative 7 but we will see.

Thankyou for asking me that question. The thing that made me not get an airbag system is that when the airbags pop or if something happens to the airride where you can't lift up your vehicle you will be pretty much stranded and would need to get a tow truck to take it and fix. With a cupkit if your cups end up not working your car is still driveable since your sitting on coilovers instead of bags. Also when you get bags the stability of the car especially bmw's is not he same after the suspension is taken out. The cup kit suspension is like riding on coilovers so on sharp turns I can still go 70 with no problem. People that drift use cupkits as well for that matter. The tank is smaller as well and I only use one compressor since I do not have bags where it needs to fill the whole bag up.

The cons for a cupkit is that my ride when lifted is really stiff to the point I feel ike im in a lowrider. When you release the air you dont hear that big PSHHHHH sound which I like. Your car wont get dumped to the floor obviously. And it doesnt have side to side, pancake, and all that other crazy stuff. So end of the day thats why I picked the cupkit over the airbags. But I think its everyone own preference really, also at that ride height you see on the pictures I actually drive on that height with no problem at all

My current ride height is about the same also. Thanks for expressing your views on why you went with the cup kit. So from my understanding, you went this route to have the ability to raise the vehicle, and not really to get it as low as possible when you want it dumped correct?

Yeah because right now its still getting lower since my coilovers is not settled in yet so it will go down lower eventually, but the main reason was from big dips or speed bumps where I can lift the front and go over them without going crooked. Also in the back I can lift it up when I have rear seat passengers before when people sat in my car it would scrapp everything in its path now I can lift it up and drive with no worrys about scrapping. The main concern I had was really losing the bmw handing if I end up bagging my car so thats the main reason as well.

Looks very cool man! Maybe it's just me but starring at that last pic on your first post, did you scrape your front bumper by parking too close to the pavement? This is why personally I'm so scared of lowing the car.

That's what I was thinking as well, but it looks like the curb ends and he pulled up past it.

For everyone, I think the stance is so wrong on my car still since the wheels look more inverted then out. So im thinking for my next wheels I might need to get some big serious spacers depending on how they fit. 25mm front and 40mm rear what you guys think?
