3 stage intake manifold question

Hello everyone, I have a question about the intake manifold swap for -28i (I'm doing it on a 528i but there should be no difference).

I understand I don't need hoses that the -25i cars need. However, if I understand correctly, the -28i still has a hose attached to the manifold. What is this hose and what does it do? both types of manifold seem to have this part called "angle connector" 11617561408 and the part says it connects to a PCV line. When searching, all I find is PCV lines for cars with oil separators, which the -28i don't have on the manifold.

I'm trying to cover my behind by buying parts that may break during installation so that my car is not down for more than a day.

Thanks

I can only tell you this .

There are more technical answers at the other board .
That's not to say that you might not get it here but its
much more likely at the other board.
The other board is devoted to e9x only and not BMW's in general.
