Token shouldn't be a problem we have some members who can get those for us once avaialble... But getting the documenation for all the elements in the Modules would be challenging

Folks, help me understand the coding of the F07 Hatches as it relates to the dash button(s) and fob buttons. To that end, I would like to complete the attached Grid and examine what is common, and what differs in the coding as it relates to your current functionality. Thanks.

Dont want to discourage you but from the retrofits i have seen here the cost will easily above 3 or 4K (retrofit price is at least 1.5 to 2 times the factory just parts )if not count me in for the retrofit.

ACC - I think you forgot the most important and most expensive part: The radar sensor under the front bumper. I did not find it on RealOEM.

Shawn, the ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN does work by itself, but only when you use the doorhandles, not for the keyfob. For the keyfob you need the _FB active as well

And I agree with you guys, that coding bible would be worth something indeed. I'm willing to contribute as well to get our hands on that



Btw, that's not too much for the radar if that's the price.. but then again, including the rest and installation, I'm betting it will still be well over $2K lol

I don't think so. @mjgood checked it a few hours ago, and the doorhandles (Comfort Access) were KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_PA and the Fob was KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB, and for either to work though, ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN had to be aktiv, but enabling it by itself alone did nothing.

@Shawn: You're right, thanks for clearing that up with me. I never really considered the _PA one as being the one for the door handles

Can anyone help me, I'm following the getting started pdf but when I get to:

Step 13: New option under CADF, a folder. Expand the folder by clicking + and right click that file, Select “EDIT FDL”

I get an error msg:

No EST file chosen. [C155]

Did you add the path to the EST token under Options->Settings (as per the install instructions contained in the download)?

Highlight the CAFD file, then select Read Coding data, then you can Edit FDL.

So my first attempt with coding! Its a nice feeling when it works

Tried to code 2 things, start-stop memory which worked and then 'Button on driver-side will be enabled to CLOSE the trunk' which didn't (yes I have the electric trunk option )
I added TASTER_FBD aktiv nicht_aktiv as well but it still didnt work.

Any ideas? I am coding an F25 (sorry to invade your section but you guys seem to be more active with coding and it mentions F25 in the file for that option too).

It should work by now... Trunk takes some time before it starts woking

You are using the F025 psdzdata I assume.

The trunk one for some reason seems to take a while before it starts to work. Try it again after the car has been completely off for an hour or so.

Does you X3 just have a single Hatch in the back that opens?
