Can I use E46 staggered wheels for my 97 M3?
Hi Everyone, my 97 M3 currently has 18X8 ET20 wheels all around and I have new tires (225/40/18) on them. Can I replace the wheels with E46 stock staggered 18" wheels (8JX18 ET:47 and 9JX18 ET:26)? Will I need some kind of spacers? Will my existing tires fit for the E46 staggered wheels? If not, what are the tire sizes will be good for these staggered wheels if I use them on my E36 M3? Thanks in advance for the advice.

225s are about maxed on 8" rims.
You would need something like 25mm (1 inch) spacers on the front. Stock on the E46 M3 were 225 front and 255 rear. Many people upped to 245 front and 265/275 rear. But no idea if they will fit in the back of an E36.
