Just swapped my battery and now have dash warnings

I followed the DIY article on replacing the battery and upon start up, I get a 4X4 error on the dash. The brake light is also on, but not bright. If you pull the Ebrake it lights up bright. I had a outside light error before I did this and it is still there. I will have access to the factory software on Monday evening, but until then I was wondering what could have happened.

The 4x4 error went away on mine.(known bug )

The 4x4 error went away on mine, by the time I drove to the end of the block.
This is a known error that self corrects when you drive the car a little after unplugging the battery .
I suspect the other is to , but drive carefully until you know the brakes work.
Also lost the trip computer data and time of day nothing else that I noticed.
It also should reset the adaption values which will mean the car will feel a little
different if you have an automatic for awhile.

Yes, I took it out just after I posted this and it cleared immediately. I checked for control errors and it was no longer there. Also from another post, I found one of the dual brake bulbs in the left rear lamp assembly bad and replaced that. Now all errors are gone and I'm happy again.

Could it have to do with the registration now "needed" when putting in a new battery? N4S
