SAMSUNG Skyrocket Bluetooth

Finally bought a smartphone. My old, simple VU phone synched up to my car very well. I can't get this new Skyrocket Droid to synch. Granted, I've only tried twice. I'll keep working at it. Anyone else out there have a Galaxy Skyrocket that works with a 328? Thx

Sadly, with Android phones it is hit or miss (for reasons I don't particularly understand). For example, I have a Droid 3 which syncs fine but sometimes has a hiccup or two. Previously, I had a Droid 2G which would not sync at all. The plain Droid 2 non-global had zero problems syncing (There are all Motorola Verizon Android phones).

And, its not just a Droid issue. I was able to sync my BB Tour with no trouble at all - it was absolutely flawless in fact. My sister's BB Bold would not sync at all. But, eventually, BMW updated the software in my car and now every BB I can find syncs OK.

My recommendation is one that you will probably not like - if you can't get the phone to sync either ask your dealer if an upgrade of your BT software is possible or return the phone. I would never buy another phone without borrowing it and taking it out to sync with my car first.

Thanks for the replies. I can't return the phone, it was a gift from my wife! I will talk to my dealer. My wife's old Jeep has 115,000 miles on it and it's about time for a new vehicle. Maybe I'll just by an X5 and solve both problems!
