Can arm rest USB port charge 2 devices at the same time?

Does the USB port in the armrest have enough power to charge an iPhone and an Android phone at the same time?

I've seen Y cables on ebay/amazon before. I was wondering if that would work. (Also, was wondering if anyone had seen a Y cable where it is longer on the split side then the single side.)

Or am I better off buying a cig port usb adapter?

I would say, use the 12V USB adapter. The audio USB port is low voltage/low current.

Or just get a snap-in for the iPhone and use the USB port for the Android.

FWIW I tried a USB hub and it didn't work. Got a dual USB port cig charger and use that for personal and work phones simultaneously but it certainly charges much slower.
