Those look VERY good...clean and definitely not mistakable for being an M5 poser. I like it; I just might end up doing this after all!

Told you would love them...jump in!

I am not looking for any performance changes, I just need quad look

Why is it complicated? I would have thought the 550 would be easier to go quad. It already has four exhausts tips, all one needs to do is cut-off the shroud and fit four individual tips. As for the vacuum valve, I believe it can propped open permanently or just plain removed.

Not so easy. The valve is out fairly far, and the tips would stick out a lot. Also, there would not be much left of the pipe outside of the valve to attach a new tip to. Trust me, I've laid under the car for probably 30 minutes total trying to figure it out - and I'm pretty good at figuring that sort of stuff out.

I have seen the thread where a guy cut off the existing pipes including the valve. I'm considering that, but my car is leased and I would be taking a chance that BMW decides they want the stock tips & valve back on the car when I turn it in. This is not a simple decision in my case.

I could be wrong, but aren't the cutouts for the tips on the M5 closer to the middle of the car than the stock 535 & 550s?

I think as long as you do not touch the catalytic converters ill be fine on returning the vehicle.
Sometimes they even look at a good mod as a value add if done proffessionaly .
Dont hold me to that! But it's just tips. I saved mine in case that situation comes up.
123 weld back on....presto!

I do believe that is true as well, but I don't know exactly how much more inward they are. I'll be using an aftermarket exhaust in either case, so I will have some flexibility and make adjustments as needed

The only mod is having to buy the 550 diffuser and have someone install the tips to the muffler. Tell the installer to cut the tips down 1" which is the closest u can get them to the muffler on our cars so the tips dont stick out to much past the bumper!
Thats it

These tips look great!! No doubt that these aftermarket tips and placement (protrusion) looks far better than the stock M5. The M team could take a few notes from these Cyba tips.

I was on the fence with doing this mod, but it seems relatively reasonable.

Does anyone know if these tips are 409 stainless steel?

Also, can anyone here comment on the carbon fiber rear diffuser fitment and build? I have a titanium silver. I am not a big fan of keeping the rear diffuser all black, and would rather paint it. I think that I may choose a carbon fiber diffuser over the black.

Here you go
Click for all the details you will need! ps no idea about the 409 stainless. they have not rusted yet, amazing quality from CYBA.
Class act all the way.
Great decision on the carbon fiber. it looks amazing sir

I stumbled across the E90 posting by CYBA (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=281932)

He is now also offering "Dry Carbon Quads Angle Cut". He posted that they are the same diameter as the others so fitment shouldn't be an issue.

Someone needs to buy these and post some photos!

I would certainly do it if I didn't already have the carbon diffuser
Probably overkill
Quality problem to have
"Too much carbon"
