Welcome to one of our F30 brothers. Look around, grab the information you need and code the hell out of that F30. The module locations should be in similar locations in the software.

Build your cable, grab the how-to's, then code your car. If successful let the other F30 guys know how to do it. Finally, let us know where we can find the F30 cheat sheet once you guys have built it.

DS does not show the gear in mine (regular 8sp AT). Only shows current gear when I enter manual shift mode. Would love to see the gear especially in D.

Just finished downloading the rar's and all other stuff, next is to build the cable.. hopefully things go as planned


edit: sure enough, the guy who sells the connectors on ebay is not shipping them to HI (I'm curious why not, seeing how it is coming from HK and uses regular mail)

Hmm Interesting... Yes i was in park when i recorded that ... Nope i dont have to be in psort mode for that... But when i move to soprt mode the pop up comes with a option to selct the sport screens... In other modes i have to maually select the screens ...

We are missing some thing here!

The common denominator so far seems to be you (and others) have various vintage 535 F10's. But yours did not have ECO PRO, right? I suspect it's just an obscure option my car has disabled since A.S.S., etc. aren't available in NA on the 550. Something that must pass data to the ED displays for efficiency, etc.

It's probably silly and very German and that's why I've missed it.

Hey Hey mine is just couple of months old ... Dont make it a vintage

i have Eco Pro mode and i have all the eco pro screens enabled by default .. I think all 2012 models except 550 has it

Could you possibly save your HU_CIC file to XML and share it? I can compare it line-by-line with mine to see what, if anything, might be different.

Yup will do no probs!... I dont remeber seeing the option to save but i will check it

After you Read Coding Data, on the right side, should be a Save option and it will spit out an XML file.

Also - to anybody who has this working, there's a field just underneath the Aktiv/Nicht Aktiv toggle for Werte (value). Is yours set to 01 or something else?

Hopefully we can hook up sometime. Weekends are not TOTALLY out of the question, especially when it get HOT. I still ride all summer, but it's easier to talk me out of it for a day
