It's awful. They had one with the pearl accent interior at the local dealer (which, they ended up selling)... the salesperson referred to it as the "femme" edition of the 3 series. :P

I'm a 6er guy but I actually kinda like it. Wonder how a beige steering wheel will look though after a while. I can imagine dirt and oils from the hands will get it looking nasty real quick.

Also worth noting is that the dials for the speedo and tach are brown... which is "odd" to me, to see something like that on a German car.

I figured that most responses would not favor this color configuration. I, too, felt the same way when i first saw it and thought it was an eyesore. I have not seen it in person though.

I think its the first time for a BMW to have a steering wheel and dash that's not black. The beige tones take out the aggressiveness and in turn give a feminine appeal, and I think the all beige config makes it look like a volvo.

Yes, Volvo like is what I've heard people comment on after sitting in it.

correct. I saw the textured wood in person. It looks very plastic although it does not feel/look cheap to me. i think the pearl trim would be a better option

Aesthetics are a very personal thing. If you like it then that is all that matters.

I was shocked to see that BMW will let you build this monstrosity, but won't let you build a sport line with saddle leather....

Meh not bad, not good. I can see some subset of buyers going for this. Gonna be a hell of an interesting car to sell used.

As the Modern line goes, I think it would be fine if BMW hadn't made the utterly stupid decision to leave the tan.steering wheel. That ruins the entire thing.

I'm a feminine woman and that interior makes me want to hurl. I'll keep my black on black sport interior.

Its bizarre - to me the wood is too dark and the steering wheel should be black. maybe that would work better.

Strongly dislike. I don't like the light dash and steering wheel.
