I checked the pinouts for the ScanGauge cable.

Looking at the OBD2 connector, with the larger side on your left and the CAT6 cable with the contacts "up" as you look at it, here is the pinouts:

After checking the pinouts and comparing it to the pictures in the first post, its not the same.

Guess its either Lithuania or a awesome user to build me one for a cost. Rather have it done in US - cheaper and don't want to potentially wait 3 weeks for delivery from Lithuania.

I've already ordered the OBD port connector, and as soon as it arrives, I'll be building one myself. From there, depending on my results and time involved, I may offer to build them for others...

Has anyone used this to re-program the HUD yet? I'm a big lover of that head up display (note, it's not "heads up" ;-) ... but the information on it is limited, I mean speed (+cruise) and routing mainly when driving ... would LOVE to have the current gear displayed on there.

Looks like (from the videos on the other link) they updated to include turn indications, so would love to hear some feedback from anyone who dared try this :-)

I've been following this thread pretty close. I see a lot of comments, but no one has definitly stated they have actually been able to recode their F25.
I'm very interested in learning the process. If someone with the expertise is willing to work with me, I'd be willing to compensate them for there trouble. I have some coding experience, as I have the necessary hardware and software to reprogram LS1 and LT1 GM ECMs.

I got my F25 on Friday, have the entire software package : just waiting for a cable to be built and I will definitely start and report back ASAP!

I'm having trouble finding and downloading the software. I too have the parts on the way to build a cable.

Where are you located? I have the 10 gig package thanks to another member. But I had to get a rapidshare acct. so worth it.

A member called Shallowtail posted over there that he has an F25 X3 and coded with success... I purchased the cable 2 weeks ago from codecard like several of the F10 forum, sadly my cable hasn't yet arrived, but people over there is saying that their cable worked with no issues. The waiting time for you guys: US/CANADA is 9 days, as I'm located in Guatemala I'm looking at a 4 week wait.

When my cable arrives I'll let you know how it goes...... I need to be patient

Got my 2013 28i this Tuesday and just done coding with it. Here are a list of options that I've enabled so far:

automatic mirror folding on lock/unlock
persistent auto start/stop setting
trunk closing via driver side button/fob
turn signal in HUD
remove navi/camera disclaimer
psi/temperature values in TPMS monitor

Using ShawnSheridan's F10 CheatSheet, I have been able to recode my 2013 X3 35i.
I can successfully close the mirrors from the fob and door handles, have set the auto start/stop to default OFF and close the tailgate from the fob.
I know its not a big deal, but for someone thats new to all this, as I am, its a word of encouragement.
