Overfilled Expansion Tank
I am reading about the bleeder screw for the cooling system. However, this seems like for getting air out of the system.
I accidently added too much water to my expansion tank because the plunger was stuck at the bottom. When I dislodged it, it shot full extension. What should I do? Is there a screw release? Or should I try to syphon? |

I found an old CN90 post suggesting a turkey baster extraction. Going to give this a try.

Edit - My apologies, I missed this was for an E39, not an E46. Last edited by MMME30W; 05-16-2012 at 07:23 PM. |
