I have been having troubleshooting this.. The codes I would get is misfire cylinder 7.. I changed the fuel injector and spark plugs, it started running fine after 40 miles i started getting the same problem got the codes up and it still says misfire cylinder 7.. Can it be the coils? should I check it? if so how can I check if it is bad.. Thank you for READING everyone.. please help.

Simple test. Swap one ingition coil for another and then run the car. If it's the ignition coil (which it sound like it is) you will start getting an error code for the other cylinder. I keep a couple of ignition coils because I have 3 different bimmers and they always seem to need one.
