Front Bumper Scrape
I went to get some lunch today and pulled into a parking spot with my M and "sssssssssssccrrrrrapppppppppeeeeeeeeee".
![]() It was a pretty good one. Was wondering how many people have done this and fixed it or left it alone? Not sure if someone would see it, but upon selling I"m sure they would.

My bumper has all kinds of scratches on the bottom trim parallel to the road. I'm sure this is pretty normal with most everyone's.

I am sure mine looks worse than your invisible picture.
![]() I had a clear bra put on the night after delivery. So now, the bottom is scraped, and the clear bra is hanging in tatters. I really need to strip it off and replace it.

My old E46s bumpers underside was laced with scrapes from drive ways slightly steeper than I had expected. With bumper scrapes (especially the bottom of it) I go by the 5 foot rule. If I can't see the damage while standing about 5 feet from the bumper I don't worry about it as I'm probably going to accidentally do it again.

The E46 M3 seems to be the perfect height, to scrape the bottom of the front bumper. And lower, and you would just hit it the parking lot divider. Any higher, and you be over it.
I am sure BMW engineers spent MONTHS, traveling around the US measuring parking lot dividers to properly engineer this car to do this.
